During the third quarter of 2024, the Photo and Video app category in Norway saw varied performance across the top five apps, according to Sensor Tower data. Here's a closer look at how each app fared in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

YouTube: Watch, Listen, Stream by Google experienced fluctuations in its weekly revenue, starting at approximately $191K at the beginning of July and peaking at around $273K by the end of September. The app maintained a steady download rate, hovering around 2.6K to 2.8K weekly, while active users remained consistently high, ranging from 3.4M to 3.5M throughout the quarter.

Snapchat showed an interesting revenue pattern, with a notable peak of $148K in mid-August. Weekly downloads were relatively stable, averaging around 4K, and active users fluctuated slightly, staying close to 1.3M.

Capture App - Photo Storage from Telenor Software Lab AS saw its revenue peak at about $28K in mid-July, with a modest download volume ranging from 900 to 1.1K weekly. Active users saw a small dip, starting at approximately 6.8K and slightly decreasing to around 6.1K by the end of September.
